MINNEAPOLIS, June 21, 2019—Josh Birkholz, President and CEO of the global fundraising consultancy Bentz Whaley Flessner (BWF), and Katrina Klaproth, President of Philanthropy Services, are excited to announce the addition of senior associate Wendy Jaccard to its team of consulting professionals.
She brings over 25 years’ experience in nonprofit fundraising and has worked with federated national and international nonprofits; ACC, Big 10, Ivy League, and Canadian institutions of higher education, as well as healthcare clients, small colleges, and secondary education organizations. Prior to joining BWF, Wendy worked in a Salesforce practice for nonprofits as a principal consultant, serving as technical lead, among other roles, with a variety of nonprofit and higher education clients. She also has 15 years of experience with Blackbaud implementations and business process improvement projects, including The Raiser’s Edge and Blackbaud CRM.
Wendy started her career at James Madison University, where she served as director of advancement services, overseeing gift administration, constituent management, and prospect research, while also leading a new system implementation and conversion. She later served as the director of the newly created donor relations program, building the basics of the university’s stewardship program.
“Our clients are looking to BWF for guidance and partnership in navigating system implementations, conversions, and vendor relationships as part of their strategic planning. Wendy brings extensive experience and a strong product awareness of industry options to our growing team of experts, and we are thrilled to offer her services to our clients who may be planning for these services as part of their long-term strategy” states Birkholz.
